Let's Celebrate National Nothing Day!

Celebrated Annually on January 16th

National Nothing Day is celebrated every January 16th. It was first conceived in 1973 by a columnist in San Francisco. He developed this day as a day to relax and celebrate nothing. Well, you know me; I refuse to not celebrate, so let's take a look at a few ways to celebrate nothing.

According to the Oxford Dictionary, nothing is "not anything; no single thing."

A Few Nothing Facts...(I guess that would be nothing; there are no facts about nothing:-)

A Few Ways to Celebrate National Nothing Day...

1-Today, do nothing-just relax.
2-When asked what your plans are for the day, say "Nothing."
3-Read "The Book About Nothing" it is great.
4-Use the word nothing as much as possible throughout the day
5-Watch the Seinfeld episode about "Nothing."  Season 4 Episode 3 The Pitch/Ticket I just watched it, and it is about nothing but still pretty funny.

How will I celebrate National Nothing Day? I have "The Book About Nothing," and it is great. My grandkids love it, so I will re-read it. I also watched the Seinfeld episode about nothing, and it is pretty good.

Happy National Nothing Day!
