National Buffet Day.

Celebrated January 2nd  Every Year.

What a great holiday to celebrate with family or friends. It is a reason to gather to enjoy a buffet at a restaurant or develop your own at home. Either way, it is an opportunity to get together with those you love and enjoy good food.

National Buffet Day is an excuse to enjoy a feast, a time to literally "pig out." Usually, at a buffet, you have a wide variety of foods and a lot of it, so you don't have to walk away hungry.

As I was researching buffets, I wanted to know about the largest buffet in America.  I headed to Google to find that two were mentioned...

*Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.  I tried to find the official price.  The only price quote I could find was from a blogger who went, and at that time, it was $65.00.  I am unsure what it is now, but it would be a fun experience regardless of price.

I had the opportunity to enjoy a lovely buffet in Ashville, NC.  I went with my cohort in celebration crime, Rocky, to a Brunch Buffet at Grove Park Inn.  Grove Park Inn is a unique, beautiful Inn with several restaurants, one of which has several types of buffets.  We enjoyed the Saturday Brunch Buffet at the Blue Ridge Restaurant, which was $52/adult.  It was well worth the price. 

At this brunch, they had everything you need for breakfast or for lunch.  It was a great experience.
