November 8th is World Pianist Day, a wonderful occasion to celebrate all pianists, keyboardists, and those who bring music to life through the keys. It’s a day to honor their talent, dedication, and the beautiful sounds they create that inspire and move us.

A Few Piano Facts...

• The piano, or pianoforte, is a musical instrument with 88 keys, where pressing a key causes a small hammer to strike strings inside, producing sound.
• The first piano was invented by Bartolomeo Cristofori in Italy in 1709.
• Studies show that learning piano enhances a child's language building skills and overall academic achievement.
• A typical piano has about 12,000 parts, 10,000 of which are moving.
