Whether you’re cooking up a new chicken recipe, watching a fun documentary, or even dancing the Chicken Dance, there are plenty of ways to join in and make this day cluck-worthy. Let’s have some fun and show a little love for our feathery friends!

A Few Chicken Facts...

• This holiday was launched by the United Poultry Concerns in 2005.
• Chickens are omnivores.
• Chickens have great memories and remember up to 100 faces.
• They dream and can also sleep with one eye open.
• Chickens are capable of making at least 30 different vocalizations. 
• Chickens evolved from dinosaurs and are the closest living relative to the T Rex.

A Few Ways to International Respect for Chickens Day...

How will I celebrate International Respect for Chicken Day? My daughters have chickens. I may pay them a visit and spend some time with the chickens.
