National Poker Day is a day to learn more about all the things involved in poker.

A Few Poker Facts...

• The earliest form of poker involved only 20 cards; most games now use a full deck of cards
• The first cards were printed in the 1300s.
• In the 15th century, matching suits of hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades were created.
• In the 1800s, Poker is created and is initially called poque.
• The longest poker game was more than 8 years long at the Birdcage Theatre in Tombstone, Arizona
