Let's Celebrate National Old Stuff Day!

Celebrated Every March 2nd.

This is a day to look at and enjoy old stuff.  These could be antiques and vintage items.  The focus does not need to be on physical old stuff but could also be a time to
change up our old habits and try new things

A Few Old Stuff Facts...
  • For an item to be an antique, it has to be at least 100 years old
  • For an item to be vintage, it has to be at least 30 years old
  • Secondhand shopping began in America in 1820
  • 1902 Good Will Industries was founded by a pastor, Edgard J Helms
  • eBay and Craigslist came to be in 1995

A Few Ways to National Old Stuff Day...

1-Spend the day getting rid of some "old stuff" you may no longer want.
2-Visit an antique store, a vintage shop, or a rummage sale, and buy some "old stuff."
3-Try a new hobby or start a new project.
4-Change an old habit.
5-Donate your Old Stuff.

How will I celebrate National Old Stuff Day? I think I will visit a vintage clothing shop.  I will also donate some old clothes I never wear to a thrift shop.

Happy National Old Stuff Day!
