all the delicious wine produced by this grape.

• Riesling is from the Rhine region of Germany.
• The Riesling grape can produce wines from very dry to sweet.
• The flavors in Riesling wine depend on the ripeness of the grape. Less ripe grapes tend toward lime and lemon flavors, while the more ripe grapes take on the flavors of pineapple and apricot. 
• Riesling wines are typically high in acidity. 

A Few Ways to Celebrate National Riesling Day...

1-Host a wine tasting of different types of Riesling.

2-Go to a local wine shop or cafe and have a glass of Riesling.

3-Research the best foods to pair with Riesling and make a meal to share with family or friends.

4-Read about the history of Riesling.

5-Visit a local winery and have a glass of Riesling.  

6-Go wine shopping and buy a bottle or two of Riesling wine to add to your wine rack.
