Rose Day is celebrated every February 7th. It is a romantic holiday associated with the build-up to Valentine's Day. This is the day to show your love by giving roses.

• A red rose is considered romantic, a yellow rose represents friendship, and a white rose depicts innocence, purity, and new beginnings.
• There are over 150 species of roses and thousands of hybrids.
• The cultivation of roses began thousands of years ago in China.
• The National Flower for England is a rose.
• 54% of the land in Ecuador is covered in roses, which is the largest supplier of roses.
