This is the day to celebrate Kahlua, a liqueur made with 100% Arabica coffee beans and Rum. Kahlua is enjoyed in cocktails that are often combined with milk, cream, coffee, and cocoa.

• Kahlua got its start in Mexico in 1936.

• The original Kahlua was 26.5% alcohol, but in most cases, the alcohol content has been lowered to 16-20%.
• It takes about seven years to produce a batch of Kahlua.
